Phoenix Feathers - About Us
We are a small, home based breeder of conures, macaws, and cockatiels. We have a passion for raising quality birds that make excellent pets. Phoenix Feathers is not a bird mill, and we will always choose quality over quantity
Some breeders view all other breeders as competition. We don't see it that way. Some of the species available in the pet trade or aviculture are becoming rare, threatened, or close to extinction in the wild. There is always something to learn about bird breeding, and what works well for one breeder, may not work for another. Together, if we can help save one single species from disappearing, then it's worth it. We're always willing to trade ideas, share our experiences, and accept suggestions. If you have a question, please ask. If you have something to share, please do. We both might learn something new. Ultimately, both the bird and the customer benefit.
